Honu (Sea Turtle)

Green sea turtles are commonly observed in Hawaii. They feed on algae growing on coral and rocks near shore.

Pattern includes: foundation pattern 7" x 7" on special foundation paper,basic paper piecing instructions.

Finished quilt size: 11 " x 11"

Turtle shell: 6" x 6" piece
Head, tail, flippers: 81/2" x 10" piece
Ocean background: 8" x 16" piece of blue
Boarders: two 2-1/2" x 8" strips and two 2-1/2" x 12" strips
Binding fabric: four pieces of 2-1/4" x 14"
Backing fabric: 12" x 12" piece
